Sutter Urgent Care - San Carlos Center

It was the 1st time I ever went to Urgent Care in San Carlos. Upon my arrival, employees guided me in the right direction. Front desk was very friendly and checked me in quickly. The medical assistant was friendly and I was seen by the doctor quickly. I will plan to go back for future urgent care needs. I was able to book the appointment quickly and all of my concerns were addressed. Thank you!

I set up an appointment at 6:20 pm. Early in the afternoon I received a call from urgent care that they could see me as soon as I could get there! I was only in the waiting room 4-5 minutes when I got called to come in. A nurse took my vitals and soon after Dr Bornstein came in to examine me for a second degree burn. He was very kind and explained the treatments and my home care. Everyone was very nice and professional. I was grateful that I decided to go to Urgent Care and would not hesitate to use them again if necessary.

I recently went in for an urgent care visit. I was able to schedule that visit the same day and had a specific time assigned to me. I arrived on time and since I had been prompted to check in on-line ahead of time, my wait was less than 5 mins before an attendant collected me to take my history and vitals. There was a short wait for the physician. The doctor was excellent and open to finding my problem so a few tests were ordered and don't you know she nailed it and had a firm diagnosis shortly there after? I appreciated that we got the test results so quickly while I waited. In total I interacted with 6 people and all were professional, helpful, and knowledge-able. What more can a patient want? I want to recommend Dr. Le Dorsey too. She had the key insight to figuring out my diagnosis. I left with a prescription and a plan to treat my illness. I can highly recommend this San Carlos facility as one of the nicest I have been too and the staff was top notch. Thank you. Second Visit update: everything I wrote above remained true for my second visit. Great staff, competency all around and low wait times. Thank you once again. You were there when I needed help quickly.

I was able to call to book an urgent care appointment for the same day. I arrived a couple minutes before my appointment and they took me right in. Even with x-rays, I was out of there in under 1.5 hours. My local Sutter Health facility would not take reservations and had a posted 2.5 hour wait (and that’s just to get in). I will return.

I did not know about the appointment requirement, but when I told the registrar about my condition, she said she will notify one of the medical staff to see if they're available to take me in right away. It saved me several hours of wait (in a lot of pain), not to mention traveling back and forth. I'm sorry I didn't catch the registrar's name. The medical staff were all very kind and thorough, and made sure that I was comfortable with each process. Thank you so much to everyone who attended to treat me.

I had an urgent care appointment for 3pm. I got a call at 9am asking if I can come in immediately because they had a slot open. After rushing there, they still made me wait 25mins in the waiting area, and 45mins in the patient room (in patient gown) for the doctor to arrive. They could have just let me wait in the waiting area and informed me about the tentative wait time so I can be prepared. I could have gotten some work done while waiting if I had known.
